M2T has provided senior engineering leadership to the GWEO Manufacturing Division through the appointment of an external consultant as Chief Engineer (CENGR). Brenden Matthews served as the first CENGR from November 2023 to February 2025, after which Helen Hann assumed the role and continues to support GWEO MD.
As a newly forming Manufacturing Division, GWEO MD required an experienced engineering authority to establish and mature its engineering fraternity, governance and technical decision-making arrangements while supporting emerging manufacturing and certification activities.
M2T provided experienced CENGR leadership, with one M2T engineer acting as CENGR at a time. The role provided senior technical oversight and engineering authority, supported establishment of the engineering fraternity and helped connect Manufacturing Division activities with the wider GWEO engineering framework and the sister GWEO GWPC program.
M2T’s CENGR support provided GWEO MD with experienced external engineering leadership during a critical capability-establishment period. The engagement helped establish the engineering fraternity and provided continuity of senior engineering authority as the Division progressed its manufacturing and certification activities, including support to the GWEO GWPC program that delivered the GMLRS milestone.
